We absolutely love the custom painting Tamara did of our lake house. She captured the essence of "our house in the woods" beautifully - and all from a few photographs taken on my phone. The painting hangs in our entrance, so it's the first thing guests see as they come in the front door. But of course it's of the back of the house which is on the lake. So I look at this painting as an invitation to keep on going through the house and find what is waiting out back. Thanks so much for sharing your talent with us. When our daughter was about to graduate, I wanted to find a unique, yet sentimental gift. I also wanted my daughter to have something visible that she could take with her through all stages of life that would serve as a constant reminder that she is a talented, confident, compassionate, faithful woman. To say I was pleased with the painting would be an understatement! Tamara used my daughter’s favorite colors to paint a ballerina, in the likeness of my daughter, and then, used mixed media to give the ballet skirt added dimension and to incorporate her favorite quote and Bible verse.
